The Chamber is pleased to bring to its members and visitors daily business news that has been gleaned from a variety of regional, national and international newspapers and magazines in the form of RSS feeds.  The Chamber obtains news feeds to provide information and analysis that uncover trends for you to know, understand and, ultimately,   use in making informed decisions.   Also, in this section we provide our visitors with newspaper and magazines articles written, often as result of our advocacy,  about our members,  and with Chamber news and other internal information, which have been generated specifically for your use.  Have a warm drink while you read our daily news!

While our main means of communication are via email or by phone or fax, our online newsletter is currently being redesigned into several similar but separate products that will serve specific areas in the District of Columbia and in the mid-Atlantic states.

In addition, our websites provide members and visitors with interactive channels of communication via applications  such as  our Calendar of Events, Find a business. Apply for a Job, Restaurant Guide, Polls, etc.,  and through structured message formats, the latter for members and visitors to use in contacting the staff.

An early technology adopter,  the Chamber will continue to integrate new web-based communication modalities as they become importan business tools in order to stay always in touch with its members and provide convenient opportunities for instant feedback and interaction.

  • Chamber in the News

chamber_in_newsBy carefully developing and scrupulously maintaining a culture based on sound governance,  exemplary leadership,  transparency,  and accountability,  and a business ethics that rests upon the six principles of Character Counts!,  the Chamber has become an influential advocate for the business community and the community at large and,  at the same time,  it has been also extraordinarily successful in being portrayed accurately by the news media.

Morevoer,  our strategically selective and low-key approach in addressing a variety of business and social issues has yielded significant goodwill and results, and has enabled the Chamber to maintain high visibility in the community and be a consequential player in local and regional affairs.
