Meeting Cancellation Policy

Inclement Weather Policy

In rare occasions an event or meeting may be cancelled due to inclement weather.  In order to make that determination the Chamber follows Closing/Early Dismissal Policies of the public school district where the event is taking place. If the schools are closed then the event is cancelled.  Whenever weather forecasts are predicting adverse climateric conditions,  we encourage our members and visitors on the day of the event to listen or watch  the local news or visit public school websites in their district to check for class cancellations.

Every effort will be made to post an event cancellation notice on the MAHCC website but,  in its absence,  the MAHCC Inclement Weather Policy takes precedence.

Refunds

Moreover,  since the MAHCC must pay sometimes for cancelled events,  costs may not be refunded in whole or in part.  Please call the Chamber office at 301-404-1946 for further information.
